Hope Takes Wing, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization located in Hall County, Georgia.  We are committed to H.O.P.E.: Helping Others Pursue Empowerment.  Our purpose is to provide programs, equipment, and services to enhance and enrich the lives of children with disabilities, a mission that also extends to children on the autism spectrum.

Hope Takes Wing will generate operating funds through partnerships with generous local businesses, corporate sponsorships, by hosting small and large events, and by being awarded grants and loans.

During her decades of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist (including establishing a private clinic in the Braselton/Flowery Branch area), it has become increasingly apparent to founder Margaret Payne that more can be done to enable the children who will be served by Hope Takes Wing.

First comes the creation of a borrowing program for assistive technology:  communication devices, durable medical equipment, adapted toys, vision/hearing devices, modulation equipment, and accessibility modifications are just a few examples of assistive technologies. The program's scope will include functional evaluations and offer full support for the selection and use of all devices and services.

Next, Hope Takes Wing provides respite services for parents, hosts family engagement events, summer camp scholarships, and parent education opportunities.
